Who said squirrels don't like pudding?

My mom emailed us these pictures a couple of days ago. She and my dad were able to capture this cute little guy enjoying his afternoon snack in their backyard...except it wasn't an acorn...

They said that this little guy brought the cup into their yard, and that it was just hilarious to watch him gobble it all up. At one point he dropped the cup of pudding onto the ground from his perch and lunged quicker than lightning for it. They had no clue where the cup came from since they currently do NOT have any chocolate pudding at their house...still I am sure it was snack pack! PRICELESS :)

The RESULTS are in....

After a long day I came home, opened the mail box, and was excited to find an envelope from the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses...this was the envelope that I have been anxiously waiting for the last 12 days (I had to apply for licensure through Idaho since Utah is still working towards requiring PTA's to be licensed)...anyway, I got nervous butterflies as I opened the envelope, pulled out the papers and cautiously read the first line.."Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you have passed the national Physical Therapist Assistant Examination..." That's all the further I needed to read. HOORAY!! I am so happy to have this chapter of my life over with...Thanks to everyone for all your love and support. It was much appreciated!

4 years and still going strong!

This picture was taken the day that we got engaged...August 28, 2004. We had been dating for a little over a year and a half. That day was a start to the rest of my life as I know it now. It is so incredible to think that I have known Travis for over 6 years now, and today marks the day that I married the man of my dreams 4 years ago! Ironically, the weather here today is EXACTLY how I remember it being January 14, 2005...clear blue skies, sunny, and mid 40s...we got so lucky not having a blizzard on our wedding day!

When I think back to the day that I met Travis, I knew in my heart that there was something special and different about him. Obviously I fell for his handsomeness and charm quickly...I had only known him a little over a month before I told him that I loved him, even if it was on accident the first time! Now, after all this time I can not imagine my life without him in it. I have met so many people through my job that have been married 50 or 60+ years. They all say that they have forgotten what life was like without their significant other...I can't imagine what it is going to be like 50 years from now because I already don't remember my life without Travis!

There isn't anyone who I would rather spend all my time with...whether we are doing something fun...sitting at home...or grocery shopping. He makes me happier than I could have ever imagined being...even on the days that I don't like him very much (which are very few and far between!) And the best part is I am pretty sure that he loves me just as much...even on the days that he doesn't like me at all! :)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SWEETHEART!! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING!! :)

Yay it's finished!...Suggestions anyone?

Yesterday I took a test that has been two years coming...The National Physical Therapist Assistant Exam. I am not usually a procrastinator and since Utah doesn't require PTA's to take this exam yet there has been nothing lighting the fire under my butt. When I graduated in December 2006 my original plan was to take it within 6 months...then that turned into within another 6 months...and then I found myself with a new goal of before the end of 2008. I sent in the application at the end of October thinking that would be plenty of time to make my new goal. Turns out that the whole process took longer than expected so I missed the 2008 deadline, but accomplished my goal just one week later. The test was long and as intense as I had imagined that it would be...but it is DONE!! I felt good about it, and hopefully I passed..but I won't get my results for a couple of weeks. Regardless it is out of my control now and so my new focus are some goals that I want to tackle with my new found spare time...

1. Read more for fun...anything that's not about Physical Therapy
2. Get all of our digital photos organized onto CD's
3. Watch lots of HGTV to get ideas for our new home
4. Decide what I will go back to school for someday
5. Start a new "indoor" hobby of some kind

I am open for suggestions of good books of any length or genre. I went to the library today and checked out The Great Gatsby. I read it in high school and have wanted to read it again for awhile now. Also, if anyone has any idea for an indoor hobby I would love to hear it. I am not worried about keeping busy. I know that I will find plenty of things to do to fill my spare time, I am just grateful to finally have it! :)

M.I.A.

I just wanted to let all of you know that we ARE still alive! Thanks for your concern regarding our recent whereabouts. I apologize that all you continue to see are pictures of our Christmas candy these past couple of weeks...I agree that we need something new and apologize for that lack of excitement... However, I wanted to reassure everyone that there WILL be a new post up in the next few days. All of my spare time the last couple of weeks has been spent studying for my licensing exam which I take in T minus 32 hours and counting! I am so anxious to have it over with and once it is done I will be a FREE WOMEN!! Woooooo Whoooooo! I can't wait to pack up all the study books! Wish me luck! ;)
